Selena Gomez looked the perfect role model in a peach babydoll top and dark blue skinny jeans as she took the stage for her Good Morning America performance at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield in NYC on Friday, June 17.
The 18-year-old, who recently recovered from sickness that she attributed to malnourishment resulting from eating junk foods performed with her band, The Scene.
Ironically, the performance was sponsored by fast food chain Burger King.
Selena wore a sleeveless peach top with sparkling embellishments at the neck and cinched waist tied with a side bow.
She accessorized with large hoop earrings and sparkling sandals.
She wore hair extensions, styled with peek-a-boo bangs framing her face; and fresh face makeup that was perfect for the early summer morning show.
Selena and her band performed Love You Like a Love Song and Who Says from their new album When The Sun Goes Down, as well as an older hit, Naturally.
In an interview with the show's hosts prior to the concert, Selena talked about her health, dating boyfriend Justin Bieber, doing a tribute to Britney Spears, and Nicki Minaj as her favorite singer.
Excerpts from the interview:
Her health:
"I am doing much better, I am good, I just need to take better care of myself. I was very low on iron, I was dehydrated and I was just exhausted."
"I am 18 so of course I want to eat whatever I want. My mum has definitely been stocking up on the vitamins."
Answering a fan question if she will ever record a song with Justin Bieber:
'I am not sure, whenever I do songs I do them organically so if it happens it happens.'
On pressures of dating Bieber:
"I am young I spent the first three years hiding and terrified about things like this so I am enjoying being young and having fun. I can't shut it all out, I am human, I read what is going on but I try to shut it out."
What are the songs she sings loud when not in front of an audience:
"I like Nicki Minaj."
She arrived in NYC hours before she was to perform at the concert.
"Just landed in NY. Performing "Love You Like A Love Song" tomorrow on GMA!!!" she tweeted at 2am Friday morning.
She performed in Atlanta the previous day at the Mall of Georgia at the Village Amphitheater as part of the Monte Carlo Mall Tour.
"Thanks for coming out, Atlanta! I had a great time. http://t.co/5loM8jd" she tweeted on June 16 evening.
