William and Kate Middleton Rock at First Public Engagement

Newlyweds William and Kate Middleton looked glamorous at a gala dinner in London marking the tenth anniversary of the child charity, Absolute Return for Kids (ARK), on June 9, their first public engagement as a Royal couple

Not only was the Duchess of Cambridge arrestingly beautiful in a blush pink Jenny Packham dress, but husband William wasn't half bad, wearing a traditional black-and-white tux.

Catherine, 29, seemed relaxed as she graced the entrance to the event, pushing a few strands of her famous mane out of the way and a million cameras could be heard clicking.

The dress, a formal-length affair, suited the style icon perfectly as did her makeup. Eyes were done in soft, smoky colors and her rouge and lips echoed the pastel color of her outfit. Her hair was styled down in romantic waves, going with the flow of the organza gown. Finishing off her outfit was a small pair of earrings, a clutch bag, and her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring.

The venue for the kids' charitable organization was a specially-made stage in Perks Field, not far from the pair's new city base in Kensington Palace.

Arpad Busson, creator of ARK, expressed his enthusiasm to the media at having Prince William and his wife as the night's honored guests. The royal pair "bridge the generations...We need to get young philanthropists involved with us. They could not have been a better choice."

The palace issued a statement which declared that the princes' foundation and ARK "share a common vision and commitment to transform the lives of disadvantaged children in the UK and around the world."

William and Kate entered the banquet hall to another round of flashbulbs popping and applause from the guests. The two shared a table for twenty-five which included Jemima Khan, designer Tom Ford, Countess von Bismarck, Prince Pavlos, and Princess Marie-Chantal.

The 28-year-old prince gave his first formal presentation post-marriage and started a joint endeavor between the charity he shares with his brother, The Prince William and Prince Harry foundation and ARK, slated to last four years.

"Harry and I find ourselves in a position to be able to help. I really believe that individuals can make a serious difference- whether it's through wealth, through position, or some other advantage. Catherine and I hope to use our philanthropy as a long-term catalyst for meaningful change." After his speech concluded, the audience gave him a standing ovation in response.

The two departed close to ten-thirty p.m, and made everyone's night!

With Kate's look echoing the fairy tale quality of her wedding day, we can't even imagine what she's going to pick for Zara Phillips' (William's cousin) nuptials. Like her mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana, she certainly knows how to keep everyone guessing.

Twilight Star Is Engaged

Nikki Reed, the 23-year-old Rosalie Hale from Breaking Dawn, and Paul McDonald, a season 10 American Idol contestant, 26, are taking a fast train to Wedlock Town. They have already whirled by the last station but one!

The duo first met in March at the premiere of Red Riding Hood, and on Sunday at MTV Movie Awards Reed was at McDonald’s side sporting an engagement ring. She had found her man, she gushed to E! after E!’s Marc Malkin announced the happy event right there on the red carpet.

It may seem as very early days for an engagement (a point that PEOPLE brought up in a conversation with her), but Reed is sure that it’s love and she is past caring just what time is considered to be proper for the occasion.

The film star referred to her fiancé as “a genuine person” with “a good solid heart” as she spoke highly of his personal qualities and his family.

Need more reasons? They share the sense of humor. “I’ve never laughed so much with anyone,” said the Twilight star.

Britney Spears Engaged

Britney Spears is reportedly set to wed former manger Jason Trawick after her world tour.

According to UK's The Sun, Jason, 39, secretly proposed to Britney, 29, with a romantic poem and with candles and roses strewn on the ground floor of their Los Angeles mansion.

Britney now reportedly has a flower shaped diamond on her ring finger.

A source tells The Sun: "Britney's desperate to settle down again and have more children. But she is very traditional and didn't want to start a family with Jason until they'd tied the knot."

Britney's Femme Fatale tour so far includes 30 dates in North America and 13 dates in Europe.

The North American leg of the tour starts on June 16 in Scaramento, California and ends on August 14 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The European leg of the tour starts on September 22 in St. Petersburg, Russia and ends on November 9 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Engaged

We know Nikki Reed from the “Twilight” series.



We know Paul McDonald from American Idol.



Soon we will get to know them as husband and wife.



Just 6 months ago nobody knew who Paul McDonald was, but after his audition on American Idol that all changed.



The raspy voiced “Rod Stewart” sound-alike was eliminated midway through the season, but not before building a huge fan base.



When news broke midseason that Paul and Nikki were dating it took us by surprise as they had just recently met and both had busy schedules.



By the end of American Idol they were dating and appearing in public together, and just last night they attended the MTV Movie Awards together where she flashed a big fat engagement ring.



And today they announced they are engaged and have plans to get married.



Wow, things sure do move fast in Hollywood!



McDonald admits that he has never seen any of the Twilight flicks but now plans to watch them and see what they’re all about.



Nikki told E! News,

"He's the one. I love him and I don't care. I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."

Paul will hit the road later this month with the American Idol Summer Concert tour and Nikki is gearing up for the next “Twilight” Breaking Dawn release.

Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Engaged

Nikki Reed, Robert Pattinson's vampire sister Rosalie in the Twilight series, and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald are engaged after dating for just three months.

Reed made her betrothal public by flaunting her engagement rock on the MTV's 2011 Movie Awards red carpet on Sunday, June 5.

She also confirmed the engagement to E!, saying, "He's the one, he's the one."

Nikki gushed about her man writing some romantic songs for her.

"He says he's going to release a Nikki Reed EP," she added.

Nikki, 23, and Paul, 26, met in March at the L.A. premiere of Red Riding Hood and have since attended many Hollywood events together.

Convinced that their love will endure, they got each other's names tattooed on their fingers on May 13 at Studio 21 Tattoo in Las Vegas.

Earlier, in late May, there were reports of the couple having moved in together.

Things have moved fast for the couple and we wish them long innings together.

Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries Announce Engagement

Kris Humphries popped the question to Kim Kardashian on bended knees with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring in her bedroom at her Beverly Hills home last Wednesday, May 18.

The New Jersey Nets player, 26, surprised Kim,30, with the words "Will You Marry Me?" written with rose petals on the bed.

The couple announced their engagement in an exclusive deal with People magazine.

"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian told People. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Humphries took help from Kim's mother and manager Kris Jenner for selecting the ring.

"I just knew I wanted it to be big," he told People.

After Kim said yes, the family celebrated with dinner.

"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," Kim told People

"Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!'
