1. Neville Page worked on Green Lantern, too? I wish I liked his designs more. He seems to be involved in so many movies I'm interested in.2. Relatedly, in light of the horrendous Green Lantern reviews, it's a little weird to see new articles in which Geoff Johns boasts of his important role in the movie's development and role developong a possible Flash movie. Also, turns out he owns my local comic shop.UPDATE: Mark Millar calls "Green Lantern the worst superhero movie ever made."3. Jim Shooter details the origin of ROM: Space Knight (ROM stands for "Read-Only Memory"). Also, he posted a portrait of himself drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz.

1. Rob Liefeld is going to draw Hawk and Dove for DC, and the first cover illustration includes the characters' feet.2. "London 2012 Olympic Games organisers have revealed the Olympic torch, which resembles an expensive, designer cheesegrater, but have admitted defeat in their attempts to make it as energy efficient as possible."3. File this away for future reference - - a long article about why Bill Simmons's Grantland will fail. (I certainly hope it's a success.)*Previously: The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld drawings.*Buy Olympics posters at eBay.

Catwoman stars in the new Batman: Arkham City trailer
Catwoman (and her assets) stars in the new Batman: Arkham City trailer. Also, I cropped a widescreen wallpaper showing off Arkham Batman:
I'm guessing the trailer's by Blur Studio. Courtesy of, here's a wallpaper-sized still from the first Arkham City trailer:
And since I'm talking about Batman, check out this outstanding Joker illustration by Jock (apparently to be a Detective Comics cover):
