The entire editorial - every single look - could have been styled in about ten minutes. Sure, it's casual wear; we get that. It's kind of hard to make jeans and t-shirts look all that interesting. But the splattered-paint dropcloth? Really, ladies? We'll give them some credit for trying to style these looks to maximum effect: every pant is cuffed; every shirt is semi-tucked; every shoelace is undone; buttons are unbuttoned and collars are popped, but it still doesn't make the pictures or the clothes very interesting. Pick a better backdrop and do something besides all the cuffing and popping. And the funny thing is, we like most of the clothes. Except the chambray shirt. We don't care how trendy they become again, living through the '90s once was enough.
